restaurant review #366 – Vegan Heroes is a fastfood vegan restaurant in the city center of Eindhoven. This is from a visit at the end of 2022, when we were on our way to Oberhausen in Germany, for a show of Porcupine Tree (see video below – with a fan pic with Steven Wilson!! woohoo :-)))

Food is what you expect in a fastfood style place: burgers, loaded fries. The hotdogs were sold out unfortunately. Menus are to be accessed with QR code, or you could still get a hardcopy.

Had the beyond burger baconnie breukhoven (13,95€) and cheesy b*tch (9,95€) and small portions of loaded fries (5,95€ each).

Nice food, swift service. Nice spacious place, toilets at the back, were tidy, didn’t see an accessible toilet. Restaurant room itself is accessible.

Had dropped of a Happy Cow sticker some weeks before (it wasnt open yet, only opens at 1PM!) and was glad to see they had put it up!
Don’t like the ‘b*tch’ names for burgers. Yes, it’s probably meant lightheartely, but it’s sexist and speciesist language …
All in all: we had a great fastfood lunch!
PS we visited a ‘Vegan Heroes’ pop up restaurant in Tilburg some years ago. No idea whether this is from the same branch. Food was quite similar though.
