restaurant review #613 – First time visit to this vegan restaurant in Brussels!
Had a lovely lunch with my friend Kathleen. Two vegan choukes 😀
She made a reservation, and that’s certainly advised, as it was a full house!

Menu options of the day are written on the board above the counter, and one can view the dishes and desserts in the counter.

Had a cherry lemonade, quiche (with vegs and quinoa 13€), red fruit tea (4€) and pecan pie (5 or 6 € for desserts).

Loved the food! The quiche dish was a modest portion, but at 13€ very reasonably priced (especially considering this is the city center of Bxl!).
Lovely food! The pecan pie was divine! And I wish I had bought some macarons to take home. Dang!

Friendly service. With a Bruxellois flair 😉

This place has a cosy atmosphere, and there’s also a sofa corner. 🛋 But is quite small and tables are very close together, and as such it also feels a bit cramped. The benches on the side against the windows are also not very comfortable.
Small step at entrance. Toilets downstairs via a véry narrow spiral staircase (larger persons would definitely have difficulty getting through). 2 toilets. Clean. Loved the tiles on the floor.

PS: ‘chouke’ is a Flemish /Brussels word for sweetheart 💚
