restaurant review #574 – New place in town!
This place opened just a couple of months ago. I have previously already visited the Barouche in Kortrijk and liked it. It’s a fastfood chain – Mediterranean / Western style cuisine.

Order at screen, then take beeper and wait til it beeps to go pick up your order at counter.

Had a signature dish which is the only one labelled as vegan. Pita with falafel and hummus – Fal-a-fete at 12.95€. And homemade lemonade 3.60€ (you could also compose your own bowl/pita).

I appreciate they clearly mention that the sauce is vegan. The pita was nice, but on the small side. Would love to have more vegan protein options besides the falafel.
The homemade lemonade is strange. I like the flavour, but it doesn’t have any sparkle whatsoever. (was the same when I had it in Kortrijk). So I wont be ordering that again.

Not accessible, steps to get in. Nice relaxed upstairs area. Toilets downstairs (light went out after 10 seconds though?).

Clear off table yourself, but it was unclear what to put where (everything in the same bin???). I had the same thought when visiting the location in Kortrijk. So please Barouche, make this more clear?
All in all: had a nice lunch, would have loved the pita to be a bit bigger.
