restaurant review #330 – Garlic & Greens is a vegetarian Indian restaurant in the city center of Bruges, right next to the central market. It is connected to Indian restaurant Taj Mahal.
restaurant review #324 – Vero Vaffè is a coffee and lunch house in Bruges. It is located in the heart of the city, but nonetheless on a very quiet square, away from the crowded masses on the market and other busy streets. It had been a couple of years since I visited Vero Caffè in Brugge (see review here) and there weren’t that many vegan options then. This review is from a visit in 2021 (Yes, I know I’m late with posting this – I’m still catching up on many restaurant reviews 😉
restaurant review #318 – Books and Brunch is a breakfast/lunch restaurant, a ten minute walk from the city center of Bruges. As the name gives away, there are plenty of books to read in the restaurant. This is from a visit in 2021. I am way behind on posting restaurant reviews, but trying to catch up 😉
restaurant review #316 – Ohana Poké bowls opened last year in the city center of Bruges, near the Stadsschouwburg. Meanwhile, it has been renamed ‘Moana Pokebowls’. And they now also have a location in Blankenberge! We have visited the restaurant in Bruges twice in 2021. So this review is already from a couple of months ago.
restaurant review #311 – Oh!Ma is a vegan pop up restaurant in Bruges, run by vegan catering Vegansa. We have visited twice in the last couple of weeks, and hope to visit again before they close mid January!
restaurant review #306 – Basiel Urban Greenhouse is a tea/coffee house in the city center of Bruges, near the Gruuthuse museum. All the cakes/pastry are vegan and homemade! And you can also buy some to take home if you want.
Restaurant review #301 – Monkey eleven is a rather new place in town, it opened nearly two years ago, in the beginning of 2020. There are several vegan options standardly available. The style is of ‘healthy fastfood’. Each section of the menu has a vegan option (vegan pizza, wrap, bowl).
restaurant review #297 – The Olive Street Food is a small take-away place in the city centre of Bruges, very close to the central Market and the belfry (like, 5 steps away!). It is associated with the Olive Tree restaurant a bit further down the street. We had take away from The Olive Street Food a couple of weeks ago, on a sunny Sunday in Bruges.
restaurant review #295 – Blackbird is a vegan breakfast/lunch restaurant in the city center of Bruges, at the Jan van Eyckplein. The restaurant had gradually been adding more vegan option to their menu over the years, and in Spring of 2021 decided to go fully vegan. Yeah! 🙂
restaurant review #294 – Den Hemel en D’Helle is a traditional style restaurant in the city center of Bruges, close to the Stadsschouwburg (city Theater). The interior is more pub like, but the menu is rather traditional. The name – in local dialect – translates as ‘heaven and hell’.
