#593 Decent lunch, L’Estret, Palafrugell, Spain

restaurant review #593 – Vegan lunch in Palafrugell, Catalunya, Spain! Not so easy to find vegan options for dining out in this region. So this was a nice find. This is the last review from our holiday last Summer 🙂 Vegetarian options are labelled, and some are vegan. We stated we were vegan and the waiter seemed knowledgeable. And friendly.

#592 Greasy fries, floppy burgers, vegan resto Glasgow Burgers, Nantes (FR)

restaurant review 592 – This is small fastfood place in the city center of Nantes. Go order at the counter, and you get a beeper, which lets you know when your order is ready. Very friendly service, and activism inspired (with leaflets and announcements of demos etc)

#584 Clearly labelled vegan options, a rarity! La Vermuteria, Solsona, Spain

restaurant review #584 – This was one of the only restaurants in this absolutely beautiful area, with clearly labelled vegan options!!

#574 Nice vegan pita in city center, Barouche, Bruges

restaurant review #574 – New place in town! This place opened just a couple of months ago. I have previously already visited the Barouche in Kortrijk and liked it. It’s a fastfood chain – Mediterranean / Western style cuisine.

#573 Lifesaver in a region with few options, Poke START EAT, L’Estartit, Spain

restaurant review #569 – Vegan tapas at the beach!

#567 Lunch at a local restaurant, Carmen, OrganyĂ , Spain

restaurant review #567 – This is a typical local restaurant in Catalunia / Spain, in the Pyrenees (just south of Andorra). Vegan options are very rare in this – beautiful – region!

#553 SOIL Vegan Cafe, Amsterdam

restaurant review #553 – Vegan restaurant in the Netherlands. Was here for lunch on a week day.

#551 Compose your own bowl with vegan pieces, Pokawa, Nantes (FR)

restaurant review #551 – I rather eat rabbit food, than have rabbits being considered as food. Seriously, why are raw vegs denigratingly called rabbit food? Bunnies are sweet, gentle beings. Hundreds of other species also eat these ‘rabbit food’ vegetables. And there’s so much variety, they are delicious and healthy! Vegan in France! We had take-away twice from this place, it’s a chain with several locations. Ordered at the touch screen, then pick up order at the counter. We composed our own bowls, with the ‘vegan pieces’.
