restaurant review #598 – Vegan café in Haarlem. We were here for lunch on a weekday. The place was really full, and we just managed to get a table.
We had two housemade sodas (4€ each), the quiche with side salad (11€) with small fries on the side (3,50€) and the chickpea panisse (15,50€).
The food was nice, a light lunch. The quiche was more like a pastry though (I suspect made with chickpea flour) and rather dense for a quiche. Very nice fries.
The lemonades were disappointing. The glass was practically full with ice cubes, so we barely had anything to actually ‘drink’.
At first, It was really damp inside, not enjoyable (and loud). The atmosphere got better as people left and it wasn’t as crowded anymore, and they opened the front door.
Friendly service. Small place. Entrance is made accessible with a small ramp. Didn’t see an accessible toilet.
