restaurant review 245 – Urban salad is a take away place (also some seatings) in the Bijlmer area in Amsterdam. It is part of a chain with a handful locations throughout the Netherlands. It is very close to the music venues (Ziggo Dome, Arena, etc).

Until a couple of years ago, it was very hard finding any vegan options before going to a show in the nearby Ziggo Dome or Arena. Luckily, options around the Bijlmer and the concert halls are gradually improving.
Very happy with this addition! Some vegan options clearly noted on the menu, and you can also compose your own bowl.

We had an Iron energy bowl (8,75€) and added extra tempeh (+ 2 euro) to take away. The food was fresh and healthy.

There are a handful of seatings on the location. Unfortunately high barstools, which are not wheelchair accessible.

Oh, and we went to the show of Tool that evening in the Ziggo Dome. Unfortuntately no photos allowed, so no pics from the show!
