restaurant review #244 – Dolce Pizza y Los Veganos is a vegetarian restaurant in the city center of Barcelona. It is located between the Gracia area and the Sagrada Familia (at the end of the Passeig de Sant Joan parc).
Vegan options are clearly noted, and it was very hard choosing from so many options on the menu. Not used to having so much choice!
We both had a pizza with the homemade vegan cheeze (a gourmet and a funghi) with some extra toppings. Prices: Pizza gourmet (15,40€) + artichoke (1,20€) and cherry tomato (1€), Pizza prociutto (funghi) (12,40€) + olives (1,20€) + pepper (1€).
An alcohol free beer was 2€ and fresh juice 4,40€.
We loved it! It was really delicious. The pizza came with roller cutters to slice the pizza yourself.
We didn’t have to wait long (we were early, just one other table in the restaurant).
Seatings are a bit uncomfortable though, and the tables are made of old pallets, which makes that one cannot bend ones legs on top of each other underneath the table.
It is also very bright in the restaurant, not really a cosy atmosphere.
But the food was great! And the waiter was very friendly.
Note: only the front room of the restaurant is accessible. Then there are several steps going down to the back room and the toilets. Did not notice an accessible toilet.

Overall: we had a lovely dinner! Amazing pizzas. The atmosphere is not really cosy though.
