restaurant review #520 – Goes is just across the border in the Netherlands, and there’s a quilt shop and a guitar shop. So an ideal location for a small day trip 😉

Had visited this restaurant a couple of years ago (SEE REVIEW) and really liked it. Several vegan options on the menu, which are clearly labelled.

Again, we had a nice lunch. Nice variety of vegan dishes. Lovely setting!
On this visit we had:
● mocktail Virgin Hugo, 9€ and alcohol free beer, 6,75€
● bitterballen, 8€
● ‘chickn’ burger w fries, 15,50€
● rendan croquettes (small portion), 11,50€
● flowerpot dessert, 8,50€

Very friendly staff. Drinks came quickly. We waited for the vegan bitterballen (starters) … but then they came together with the mains …
Nice food.
Dessert was lovely, but there wasn’t much ‘bloempotje’ (flower pot) about it. Came in a regular glass (did see at another table it was served in a flower pot). It tasted lovely though!

Mocktail was waaaay too sweet. Seems like it was all syrup. I ordered water to add.
Very big place, with several restaurant rooms. Grand feeling. It can get quite busy when full. Definitely advised to make a reservation! And you can see the brewery behind the bar.
Comfortable sitting.

Stepfree entrance. Acces to upstairs rooms via stairs (dont know whether there is a lift). Toilets on groundfloor (clean) with an accessible toilet too! The sinks are from beer barrels, nice touch.

We enjoyed our lunch. Nice food and lovely decor. 🤗💚
There’s also a shop in the front area where you can buy their beers.
