restaurant review #490 – We had a lovely luch at the beach!!

This is in Zeeland (the Netherlands), which is just across the border and not so far from Bruges. When I go to the coast (not very often), I prefer going to Zeeland over the Belgian coast, it’s much less crowded and more relaxed here.
We had lunch at one of the beachbars (located every couple of miles).

Several vegan options clearly labelled on menu: bowl, wrap, bitterballen, bao buns can be made vegan.
Order at the bar, then you get a beeper when it’s ready, and you go pick up your food at the bar.

We had a wrap 12€, bowl 15€, fries (ask with veganaise) – don’t recall price.

The food was really nice, freshly prepared, nice variety of greens. 👌
Love it that the vegan options are clearly labelled and they seem knowledgeable about vegan (eg offering veganaise with fries). And reasonably priced.
I do wish they would add some protein stuff to the dishes, like tofu, seitain, soy pieces or such to give it more bite.

Toilets were pretty basic, can’t recall there being an accessible toilet or accessible entrance (stairs to the strandpaviljoen).
This beach bar is right at the nude beach, so the view was somewhat different than what we are used to 😉
All in all: we had a nice lunch!
