#446 Nice Asian cuisine lunch at Bowls, Brugge

restaurant review #446 – Discovered a new place in Brugge! 💚🎉🎉

Saw this place added on Happy Cow and as I am the Happy Cow ambassador for Bruges, I wanted to go check it out 😃

Had asked for vegan options when making the reservation, and that was confirmed. (Reservation didn’t seem to be necessary, there was plenty of room for lunch).

We immediately got cassave crackers when taking our seat, and were told they are vegan!

A handful of vegetarian labelled options on the menu (green leaf) and were told they were either vegan or could easily be made vegan (e.g. omit egg).

Had samosa’s 9,5€, tofu bibimbap (22€) and spicy chichuan tofu (19,50€).

The samaso’s were not very special. The main dishes were very nice. Sizzling hot dishes!! Large portion. And the spicy chichuan tofu is indeed spicy! 😮

Nice atmosphere. I remember when Salade Folle (previous restaurant) was here – one of the first reviews on my blog!!). Very spacious place, with also an upstairs area with seating. Relaxed. Some wooden chairs/benches, but also some chairs with cushion cover.

Nice lunch. Would love to see some more vegan options, other things than tofu? Also for dessert (I think there was a sorbet /possibly vegan, but we were stuffed anyway.

Accessibility: downstairs main room is ground floor, side room with steps. Toilets upstairs, didn’t see an accessible toilet.
