restaurant review #260 – We were in Zoetermeer last Summer to go to a music show (Riverside, see clip below) and met with friends before the show to have an early dinner. Woodstone is located in the city center of Zoetermeer, in the corner of the square, with a terrace in front.
It was the hottest day of the year (40°), so we were glad that it was much cooler inside the restaurant.

The vegan options are clearly indicated on the menu: a pizza with beets and almond shavings, risotto funghi, tabouleh salad, and a summer salad.

We were with friends (all vegan) and ordered the four vegan courses.
We didn’t have to wait long for the food to be served. Very friendly service too.
The food tasted great and all seemed freshly prepared. The pizza can use some upgrading though (some large chunks of vegetables on top, vegan cheeze would be nice too).
And very cheap too!

There is also vegan organic wine available. No vegan desserts though, so that could be added to the menu.

A very spacious place. All seems newly renovated. Nice atmosphere, with a large pizza oven behind the counter.

The restaurant room is on ground floor (there is one section with a small step up) and is wheelchair accessible. There’s also a wheelchair accessible toilet available. Toilets were clean, and there’s a super fast air dryer to dry your hands!

Great place! We liked it a lot!
