restaurant review #541 – Vegan restaurant in Utrecht, a little walk from the city center.
restaurant review #530 – I love bowl places like this, where you can compose your own bowl. Fresh, varied, quick.
restaurant review #525 – First time ordering in one of these ‘sushi point’ locations (a chain in the Netherlands).
restaurant review #521 – Have been to many locations of this chain, and usually it’s very good.
restaurant review #445 – 10 years ago this would have been impossible! Even 5 years ago it would have been a lucky shot! Now, we easily found vegan take away before going to a concert!
restaurant review #415 – I wish there were restaurants like this everywhere! Sattgrün is a German chain of vegan restaurants. Beginning 2024, there are five locations.
restaurant review #390 – Tante Tilly is a brasserie in the city center of Roermond, in the south of the Netherlands.
restaurant review #381 – Gys is a vegetarian restaurant (nearly all vegan) in the city center of Utrecht, the Netherlands. We were here for lunch at the end of 2022, when we were in Utrecht for a concert of Opeth at the Tivoli (more videos on my You Tube channel!).
restaurant review #260 – We were in Zoetermeer last Summer to go to a music show (Riverside, see clip below) and met with friends before the show to have an early dinner. We’ve visisted Zoetermeer quite a few times over the year for a music show, as there is a music venue that hosts a lot of prog rock bands and tribute bands: De Boerderij. There are plenty of Indonesian restaurants in The Netherlands (given the historical link with the country), but unfortunately they are a rarity in Belgium. So whenever we are in the Netherlands, we try to go to an Indonesian restaurant. We had been to Selamat Datang one time before, a couple of years ago, and I recall we had no trouble being served a vegan meal then (we only took a main dish each at that visit). It was a very hot Spring day, and we sat on the outside terrace (the restaurant is on the first floor, and the terrace in front, viewing passage in the street). At first glance, there doesn’t seem to be anything vegan on the menu. …
