restaurant review #541 – Vegan restaurant in Utrecht, a little walk from the city center.

Going by the reviews on Happy Cow, we were expecting more of a ‘restaurant feel’. Had no idea the lunch menu was more with light items like sandwich, soup etc, and totally different than the dinner menu (more gastronomic?).

We had:
● kombucha 4,50€
● rhurbarb lemonade 4€
● soup of the day (mushroom) 8€
● sandwich with mushroom kroket 12,75€
● sandwich knack wortel (a carrot) 11,75€
● gyozas 8,5€

Nice dishes. But lots of bread.
The soup was very nice. The mushroom krokettes had no real distinct flavour though.
A nice place, with lots of kombucha pots brewing. Nice!

Full house and it was a bit loud, especially with several small children next to us.
Def make a reservation! Saw several people being turned away. Stepfree entrance, didn’t see an accessible toilet. Toilets on ground floor. Clean.
