restaurant review #594 – In the heart of Belgium and Europe!
Fastfoodshop with fries in de Ravensteingallery (just next to train station Brussels-Central). Nearly all vegan (except the cheese nuggets).
Everything was said to be vegan, except the chili cheese nuggets. (Why not simply make it all vegan?). Everything baked in vegetable oil (see also sign at entrance).
Order at the touchscreen at counter, food was brought to table.
Friendly, but reserved service.
We had:
● Fries medium with mayo 5,50€
● Fries medium with chili mayo 5,50€
● Kroket 3,50€
● Onion rings 3,50€
● Crunchy burger 7,99€
Very nice fries. Crispy.
Snacks nothing extraordinary, and the burger was more a veg patty/schnitzel than a meaty burger.
Waffle ok, but I think it was heated and not freshly made.
No toilet, but you can use the toilet in next door Indian restaurant (prob same owners?). Very small toilet. Clean.
Accessibility: small step to get inside.
Ravenstein gallery has lots of stairs coming from the parc area (didn’t seen an elevator). Better acces from side of train station.
