restaurant review #586 – Italian vegan restaurant! In Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

We were here on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch (around 2.30 pm) as this place is listed as being open all afternoon. There was one person nearly finished with lunch.
When we entered we were asked whether we had a reservation?? Seriously? She looked in the agenda, and finally said we could take a seat (like it was a favour?) but for one hour maximum.
Not very welcoming. (PS: If you rather not have customers in the afternoon, please adjust your opening hours)

We had a pizza pesto ricotta 16€ and a pizza Mona Lisa 16.50€.
Nice, but not anything fancy. Nice crust. Would have loved some more creamy sauce.

We didn’t bother for dessert anymore, as our hour was nearly over … (Meanwhile, nobody had entered …).
Small restaurant, small tables, not so comfy. Open kitchen, with loud bangs from pots/pans/oven doors clashing from the kitchen.

One toilet, small. Didn’t see an accessible toilet. Small step to get inside.
All in all, an OK pizza, but not a very welcoming experience. I won’t bother visiting again.
