restaurant review #532 – We were happy to find this place, although just a simple poke bowl. We were still finding our way, having just arrived in Rome, and this poke place was not too far from our hotel.
Very friendly staff, explaining vegan options, and that they also have vegan mayo.
The bowls were not really spectacular, the vegs were rather bland, lacking flavour. The only vegan protein option is a sort of chick’n pieces from Planted.
Not really a cosy place, so had take away to eat in our hotel room (remembered right in time that one is not allowed to eat food on the street in Rome, and one can get fined for that).
Nonetheless, happy with this option. Getting decent vegan food is not that easy in Rome (beyond a pizza dough with tomato sauce and vegs). We did visit a couple of vegan restaurants (see other reviews Rome), but surprisingly, there are not that many in Rome (considering the huge amount of tourists visiting).
