restaurant review #533 – New place in town! Saw the announcement for this new vegetarian restaurant last year. And after some months of renovations, it finally opened in January!
Was here for dinner, with a reservation (advised).

Menu has some warm and cold appetizers (shareables), main dishes and dessert.

We saw a dish with sour cream and one with tzatziki on the menu, and (obviously – being announced as a vegetarian restaurant) thought they were not vegan. Also because an earlier review on Happy Cow mentioned there was only one vegan main dish?
Turns out that ALL dishes are vegan (at least for the menu when we visited) except for the dessert of that day (something with pistache?).
A bit confusing, and maybe the menu could clearly state what’s vegan/vegetarian (or better still, just go vegan all the way).
And we ordered:
Appetizers (shared)
- grilled broccoli 14€
- nomet kombu krokettes 11€
Mains:
- mushroom wine stew with mashed potatoes 23€
- oyster mushroom burger 22€
For drinks we had a virgin moijito (10€) and a alcohol free beer (5€). Sparkling water 3,5€ and coffee 3€.

The appetizers were really nice, the broccoli dish rich in flavours and spicy!
The main dishes were very large portions, I could not finish mine (my husband took over). The stew was very originally presented, with pointed cabbage on top. Nice touch, but unhandy to eat (trying to cut it just pushed it into the stew/potatoes). Burger was nice.
There was also a vegan dessert: apple crumble with whip cream 10€. Lovely but pricy.

Very friendly service, and we didn’t have to wait long for food to be served.
Very nice interior, lovely cosy vibe, stylish, dimmed lights. Combo of chairs and benches (with some cushions available).
Restaurant room not acessible, several large steps to get in.
Toilets downstairs, didn’t see an accessible toilet. Clean.

Gave them a Happy Cow window sticker. Hope they put it up!
All in all: we had a lovely dinner! Will surely visit again!
