restaurant review #515 – Vegan restaurant in the city center of Groningen, in the North of the Netherlands.
Wanted to have their signature burger (lust) but it was sold out … (we were here for lunch on a Saturday, strange that is sold out on a peak moment?).
Had the atlantic burger (11€), with fries 4€, and the kapsalon 14,5€.
Food came swiftly. Okish. But nearly 1/3 of fries (at the bottom) were leftover tiny bits… not nice.
Service friendly, but reserved.
The place was a bit shabby. Decorated with plants, but most were in a pretty poor state and wilted. Doesn’t give a nice impression and a pity for the plants too …
Toilets upstairs and were REALLY dirty (clearly not cleaned for a while, bin with paper full, …). No toilet paper in one. Mèh. Hygiene?
So all in all: the food was ok-ish, and we want to support all vegan places, but there are some points for improvement here …
