restaurant review #516 – Eethuis Lamoen is in Landegem, which is between Ghent and Aalter. It’s a small restaurant which offers a modern Asian cuisine.

There are some vegan main dishes standardly on the menu, but if you want a full vegan menu, it’s advised to make a reservation a week ahead. Which we did!

There were 2 dishes of each course on offer, and as we were with friends we each ordered a different dish of each course, so we could taste everything. 48€ for 3 course menu, which is very reasonably priced!

🌱 Entree
● Red beet croquette, small pita bread with onion, salad, sweet chili mayo
● Brussels sprouts, caramelised miso, cranberries, nuts, seeweed

🌱 Mains:
● red pointed cabbage, peanut curry, chicory salad
● gyoza, tom kha, Jerusalem artichoke & parsnip cream, savoy cabbage

🌱 Dessert
● tofu creme brulee, yuzu sake orange 3€ extra
● apple beignet with vanille icecream

We also had coffee and tea (forgot to take a photo!).
Everything was truly delicious!! Original dishes, great flavours and textures, beautifully presented.
And very friendly too 🙂

Cosy small restaurant room. Very nicely decorated. Comfy chairs with armrests.
Very small step at entrance. Resto on groundfloor. To access toilets go outside to side of building. Clean. Didn’t see an accessible toilet.

In sum: Nice new discovery! Absolutely delicious. Loved it! Really enjoyed our dinner and hope to visit again**!
