restaurant review #483 – Pizza with plantbased mozzarella, in the heart of the city!

There’s one vegan option on the menu: pizza Tivoli (23,5€), with plantbased mozzarella (from Violife).
The pizza crust is vegan (checked). It’s actually a ‘pinsa’ dough, more fluffy than pizza.

Had a lemonade 5,5€, which had blueberries and framberries, nice.

Large portion (was really stuffed, could hardly finish it). Nice topping. Would love it if it had contained some protein bites, like seitan strips or peas maker for example.
23,5€ is very steep, but unfortunately these are the ‘tourist’ prices in the heart of Bruges. (Sint Amandsstraat …)
A pity they only have one vegan option, they could easily make more dishes vegan, having plantbased mozzarella in the house.

Traditional interior, rather small place, one step to get in, not accessible. One toilet at the back. Paper towels to dry hands.
PS: As often happens in non-vegan restaurants, one is confronted with non-vegan items. Chairs are likely leather (?) And cutlery also folded into a leather (like?) pocket.

PS: Both the indoor menu and the outdoor menu mention one vegan pizza. The online menu mentions two vegan pizzas (at a cheaper price), but the other one is no longer available.
