#482 Could be better, Poké Perfect, Utrecht (NL)

restaurant review #482 – I love poke bowls! 🌿🌿🥗 But there are some points for improvement here …

There are some vegan signature bowls, or compose your own. Has vegan ‘salmon’, tempeh, tofu.

We ordered at the digital screen. Vegan is not clearly indicated for sauces, so that could be clearer. Take your own drinks from the fridge.

It took quite a while for our order to be ready, although there weren’t that many patrons (maybe they also had a lot of takeaways to make?)

Had the vegan original with vegan salmon, large and a self composed small bowl with tofu.
The ‘large’ one was smaller than the small one!! Went back to counter to check, they acknowledged it, and added some more food, but even then it was just nearly the same as the smaller one!

Not accessible. Step to get in.
Toilet downstairs in cellar, where you have to pass stock/kitchen. Disorderly. Very small toilet.
Nothing to dry ones hand, so how do staff do this??? 🤔🤔

“Thank you so much for your visit! We are happy to hear you enjoyed the food! We appreciate your feedback very much and will definitely try to be better.

About our sauces; except Kewpie Mayo, ALL of them are vegan! We are very proud of it so you’re right, we should be more vocal about it We will check with our software supplier if it’s possible to communicate it better on our ordering kiosks.

Our building is super old and we are therefor limited in space and accessibility . To keep some space in the toilets, the paper to wipe hands is right outside the stall. Our staff definitely knows but we will put a note up inside the toilets to make our guests more aware!
