restaurant review #424 – I had been ages that I wanted to visit Kaffee Kamiel at the Zilverpand (a shopping center in the city center), but I just never got there. A couple of weeks ago, I finally made it for lunch!

Kaffee Kamiel is a big spacious place, and it was a full house for lunch (so better make a reservation). But despite being full, it felt relaxed, not too loud (high ceilings!).

Vegan options are clearly labelled on the menu. Had a buddha bowl of the day (18€) and a homemade lemonade of red fruits (I think this was 6,5€).
Got a paper bag with bread and butter. Dairy butter unfortunately, no plantbased butter available.

Bowl was nice, with mayonaise on top (double checked, yes it’s vegan mayo). If I order this again, would ask without the mayo.
A bit on the expensive side, but it is a trendy hip place in the center of Bruges 😉)
Friendly and swift service.

Seatings are either on low tables, sofas (for drinks) or barstool chairs/tables. Restaurant is accessible, with accessible toilet (one section of seatings is on elevated level though). One of the few accessible restaurants in Bruges!

All in all: nice lunch. Will definitely visit again!
