#416 Good, but not more than that, l’Osteria, Wuppertal (GER)

restaurant review #416- L’Osteria is a big chain of pizza/Italian style restaurants in Germany and Switzerland.

We visited the one in Wuppertalin Spring of 2023. There are some clearly labelled options on the menu, but nothing very culinary exciting. Penne arrabiata, pasta with garlic, salad with avocado.
Why not offer some pizzas with vegan cheeze and vegan proteins? Especially as a large chain, you can do better than dishes that simply mean leaving out meat/fish (Note: apparently some Osteria locations do have vegan cheeze available, but we specifically asked here, and were said only these options were vegan).

Had a homemade lemonade (nice!), a pizza pane (8,50€) penne arrabiata (8,75€) and salad with quinoa and avocado (11,50€).
Were OK, and very reasonably priced.

Nice place, spacious, good atmosphere, and accessible (entrance + accessible toilet). Clean toilets, and nice sink.

– This is from a visit in April 2023, when we were in Wuppertal for the show of Steve Hackett. And see what happened there, woohoo! 🙂
