restaurant review #408 – Bistro Bar Calypso is a vegan restaurant in the south of the Netherlands, just across the border with Belgium, in Eindhoven. We already had lunch here in 2022 (REVIEW), and loved it!
We’ve often wanted to stop again at Bistro Bar Calypso for lunch, but unfortunately they are only open for lunch on selected days (currently only in the weekend)!
So when we were heading to the festival Bospop in Weert last Summer, and saw that it was open, we took the opportunity to have lunch there.
Had the redefine Meat (3 printed burger, 15€) kebab wrap (14€), Bitterballen (8€) and fries 6€.
And a strawberry icecream as dessert 🍨, 8€ 🤤
Lovely food. Friendly service. But a long wait (20 minutes between giving us the menu and taking the order, …) with less than a handful of tables.

Outside is no longer on a elevated terrace but ground floor. Toilets on ground floor. Did not notice an accessible toilet.
Loved our lunch. If it were closer and if they would be open more for lunch, we would be regular visitors!
