restaurant review #389 – Black & White is a vegan restaurant in Breda (the Netherlands), just over the border with Belgium. It is outside of the city center, in what seems like a bussiness/industrial zone. Not the neighbourhood where you would expect a vegan restaurant! The Kafe is part of the Black& White community, with also a sports center and offices.

This is from a visit in the Fall of 2022. We were on our way to Rotterdam for a concert of Tedeschi Trucks Band (see more videos on my You Tube channel).
Black & White Kafe is a very spacious place, with a nice inner court yard with some outdoor seating.

And they have home made lemonades and ice tea.
We had a burger (16,50€), gado gado (16€) and green asparagus (6€) on the side.
All delicious!

It was hard to choose from the dessert options, so we couldn’t resist when they offered us a selection of all of them (10,50€) 😉

Very friendly and swift service too.
The only minus point would be the comfort of the seatings (benches outside – not so comfy chairs inside).

Plenty of parking space in front.
And it is totally wheelchair accessible (and accessible toilet)! 👍
All in all: loved it! Delicious and relaxed lunch 🤗👍 We visited again a couple of months later – review will follow. Love this place. If it was closer we would definitely visit regularly!
