restaurant review #297 – The Olive Street Food is a small take-away place in the city centre of Bruges, very close to the central Market and the belfry (like, 5 steps away!). It is associated with the Olive Tree restaurant a bit further down the street.
We had take away from The Olive Street Food a couple of weeks ago, on a sunny Sunday in Bruges.

The Olive Street Food, Bruges

Vegan is clearly labelled on the menu: You can choose between a wrap or a take away box, and the box can be with grilled vegetables or a vegan burger. The box is practically the same as the wrap, only a bigger portion and with the sauce in a small container on the side.
Was assured that no animal fat was used for frying, they use olive oil.
We had the wrap (6,40€) and the vegan box with vegs (11,90€). Fresh juice was 4.30€.

Good value for money, especially considering this is in the city centre of Bruges, next to the market! It was very handy that the food came in a ‘box’, made it easier to have this on your lap. The wrap was a bit more unhandy to eat.
Would love to see some more vegan options though (like seitan or other).
Note: entrance is not accessible: one step to get in.
All in all: this is the ideal place if you don’t want to spend too much time sitting in a restaurant, and want to have a quick bite to eat, in the city center.
Tip: around the corner alongside the Dijver there are benches to sit, along the canal.
