shop review #41 – Greenbay is a vegan shop in London. It is located on the west side of town (West Kensington, West Brompton). Quite a bit away from the ‘centre’ of London. We visited the shop when we were in London for a couple of days this Summer. Practically next door is vegan restaurant 222 VeggieVegan, which we visited for lunch (review will follow). We also stopped at nearby Brompton cemetary, which was quite impressive – see pic.
It is not really a ‘supermarket’ (as it says on their website), but a rather small store, with two aisles. Packed with vegan goodies though! From cosmetcis and body and care products, to vegan wines, vegan cheezes, candy, ice cream, and other food items.
We always find it so relaxing and reassuring to look around in a vegan shop. No sudden confrontation with freezers full of dead animal parts. And not having to check labels and just being able to choose whatever you want is so comforting.
Although we saw a lot of products that we were interested in (especially the cheezes and other stuff in the fridge and freezer) we couldn’t really do any shopping as we would not have been able to bring them home with us (needing to be kept cool). We just bought some chocolate bars and drinks.
Here are some more pics from Greenbay, to give you an idea of what they have on offer:
Although it is a rather small place, I sure wish we had a shop like this around the corner 😉

This looks like the cutest little shop! And I’ve been thinking of visiting 222 Veggie Vegan for quite some time now so I cannot wait to read your review of it:)
Thanks. The review of 222 Veggie vegan is coming up soon. One of the last reviews to write from our Summer trip to London 🙂
This looks amazing! Wish there was somewhere like that in Birmingham!
I wish there was a shop like this in Bruges too 😉
The sight of Follow Your Heart products in any store always makes me happy 😊
Indeed, they are not so easy to find around here (except for webshops). I do like there ‘egg powder’ to make an omelet 🙂
Wow what a store. A much smaller vegan shop has opened here in Canberra. I love it.
It is actually not a really big store (not when for example compared to Veganz in Germany). But packed with goodies!
