#427 Vegan pizzeria! Plant a Pizza, Gent

restaurant review #427- Another vegan restaurant 🙂 We have had the pleasure of tasting the pizzas from Plant a Pizza at several vegan events before, and also at the foodtruck in Ghent. Plant a Pizza then opened a restaurant in Ghent, and since the beginning of 2024 has a second restaurant in Antwerp! This is from a visit to the one in Ghent, at the end of the Summer of 2023. It is in the city center, near the Gravensteen, the medieval castle.

#417 Nice food, friendly, but shabby place, Mie Vie (2), Gent

restaurant review #417 – I had already visited Mie Vie, a vegan lunch bar in Ghent in 2018 (see REVIEW). In the beginning of 2023, I visited again (yes, I’m still behind with restaurant reviews 😉

#375 Plantbased fine dining. Delicious, but expensive, Amaranth, Merelbeke

restaurant review #375 – Amaranth is a plantbased fine dining restaurant in Merelbeke (close to Ghent). It is run by chef Pieter-Jan Lint and Carmen Duytschaever. We’ve previously already tasted Pieter-Jan Lint’s creations at a party at friends (see HERE) and had take away for Christmas (see HERE). Delicious! So we were very pleased with this new restaurant (opened in 2022).

#362 Disappointing lunch, LUDO, Ghent

restaurant review #362 – Well, most of the times it’s good! Sometimes it’s not so good … Ludo is a vegan restaurant in the city center of Ghent, near the Vrijdagsmarkt. I was eager to go check out this place, it’s always fun to discover new vegan places! We were here at the end of December 2022 on a Saturday for lunch.

restaurant review #353 – A couple of months ago we visited new vegan restaurant Soul Kitchen in Gent. It is located at the edge of the city center, near St Anna square.

#338 Lovely take away and catering from Yasai, Ghent

restaurant review #338 – Yasai is a vegan catering business from Ghent. We had ordered a take away menu for Valentine’s day, and Yasai did the catering for a party my husband and I organised earlier this year. So Yasai also does catering on location outside of Ghent. Technically this is not a restaurant review, but I’m posting it in that category anyway 😉 The Valentine’s take away menu:
