#514 Gastronomic popup restaurant Roots, Bruges

restaurant review #514 – Gastronomic plantbased menu, with local ingredients! This was a pop-up restaurant, a project – from concept to execution – run by students of @viveshogeschool (last year BA Culinary arts). The menu was fully plantbased, and all ingredients locally sourced! Yeah!

#513 Huge sandwiches, vegan options clearly labelled, Cafe K, Fredericia (Dk)

restaurant review #513 – A quick sandwich lunch in a quiet Danish coastal town. The outdoor sign mentions 4 vegan sandwiches, the menu on the indoor TV mentions 3. It’s a rarity in this region to find vegan labelled dishes!

#512 Loved the buffet! Amour, Gent

restaurant review #512 – Lunch on a weekday in Gent. A bit outside the city center, at DOK. Amour is only open for lunch, and on Friday also for dinner. They offer a buffet.

#511 Decent vegan offer, Wasabi, South Kensington, London

restaurant review #511 – We’ve had take away from Wasabi a couple of times before (see this one form the O2). This review is from the Wasabi at South Kensington, near the Royal Albert Hall and the Natural History Museum, London.

#510 Vegan dumplings at Steamy windows, Gent

restaurant review #510 – A dumpling bar & shop in the city center of Ghent. Vegan options are clearly labelled on the menu, which is a plus: 3 dumplings, 2 buns and several vegan sides.

#509 Choose from the saladbar buffet – nice take away, Kylling & Co, Ringkobing, Denmark

restaurant review #509 – A lifesaver in a town where there were very few vegan options (and the others were only open for lunch). Although the name doesn’t really sound inviting (Kylling is Danish for ‘chicken’, I think)…

restaurant review #508 – A visit to vegan frituur Tastebuds! We went here for a quick bite before going to the show of The Human League at De Roma (which was awesome, see videos below).
