restaurant review #487 – Vegan restaurant a bit outside of the touristy center. Was here for dinner in the Spring of 2024. The name ‘Vegane Glorie’ has a double meaning. Of course Vegan refers to the plantbased aspect. But ‘vegane glorie’ gives a hint to the Dutch saying of ‘vergane glorie’, meaning fading glory, something that was glorious in the past. Mmmm. A bit strange to choose that for your restaurant name when you consider it like that… š (maybe I’m missing something here, do let me know š
