restaurant review #566 – Middle Eastern /Mediterranean style fastfood. First time visit to this place! This restaurant is a chain with several locations in Belgium. (Meanwhile I have also visited the location in Bruges – review will follow).

There’s a vegan bowl (or pita) standardly on the menu, or you can compose your own.

Order and pay at the digital screens. Take a beeper, which beeps when you can go get your order at the counter. Clean off table yourself when leaving (the waste table was a bit of a mess though, should be with clearer instructions of what belongs where).

The vegan bowl (12,95€ fal-a-fete) comes with hummus, falafel, raw vegs/salad, a sort of yoghurt sauce, cauliflower, sundried tomatoes, and some pita bread. I added crunchy onions. Very nice bowl!!
PS: the pita bread is vegan (in the early days they added honey, because of feedback, it’s now with agave).

The homemade lemonade (4,35€) was a bit disappointing though. Not sparkling, in a small bottle. Didn’t resemble the pic of a lovely glass with ice and mint and lemon on the photo (I dont know whether there was ice or lemon available somewhere, when I asked about the lemonade they just pointed me to the bottle).

Had a nice lunch. Although it’s more of a fastfood style place, it was pretty relaxed upstairs. Wooden chairs and some beches on the side.
Not accessible. One large step to get in. Most seating places upstairs. Saw one toilet – upstairs.
