restaurant review #501 – This restaurant is a chain with several locations in Belgium, and they mainly offer pasta dishes.
There’s one vegan signature dish ‘The holy mary’. But you need to ask it with glutenfree pasta (which is vegan).
And two options for vegan sauce if you create your own: the bolo bastard or the hot tomato. Unfortunately no vegan cheese available …
I had the Bolo bastard (bolognaise sauce, with vegan mince), 14,50€ topped with 3 vegan ‘cheatballs’ 3€.
And with vegan pasta – 2€ extra!
A large portion (couldn’t finish it). Ok sauce, but would be so much nicer with vegan cheese.
And why do we have to pay 2€ extra for vegan spaghetti?
Enjoyable atmosphere. Nice music. But small pub like wooden chairs, not so comfy. There’s also a large upstairs area.
Very friendly service.
Entrance accessible – small ramp. Toilets upstairs. Toilets clean, but the tiles/plints, floor, could use a good scrub. Dirty. Dryer for ones hands.
All in all: okish pasta, but please provide vegan cheese Bavet? And 2€ extra for vegan pasta? Not nice …
