restaurant review #494- Lovely lunch in a bicycle themed cosy cafe.
In Denmark! (being cycling fans, an added bonus 😉 )
Vegan options are clearly labelled, which is a rarity in this region. So that was already reassuring!
Following the suggestion of the owner, we had 3 Handmatter: two hippie and one with potatoes.
All 3 were delicious, very fresh, beautifully presented and had great variety of salads, nuts, fruits, … Loved it! And the bread, a specialty of Denmark is delicious too.
Friendly service, cosy place. Nice bonus was the focus on bicycles (some jerseys, hats, photos on the walls). And even a photo from Eddy Merckx!
A lot of outdoor places too, in a quiet traffic free street. Entrance with steps, so not accessible. Toilets clean, individual towels to dry ones hands, although all were used.

Misschien had je het zelf allang bedacht, maar als nog ff volhoudt tot nr 500, zou die laatste een voortreffelijke lunch voor jullie tweeën bij jullie thuis kunnen zijn. Met geweldige all vegan gerechten van meesterkok Jimmy, uitgelezen dranken, prima zetels, de juiste muziek op het juiste volume, uiterst vriendelijke bediening, een brandschoon en goed bereikbaar toilet enz. enz. Nou ja, ligt mss ook wel te erg voor de hand 😊
