restaurant review #438 – First time visit to this place! Irish pub!

Vegan options (3) are clearly labelled on the menu.
I had the vegan potato curry with chickpeas, spinach and coconut sauces, with rice (and was also served with naan bread – said to be vegan) (17€)

The dish was nice, but a bit monotone: predominantly potatoes and sauce. Hardly any chickpeas nor spinach. Would have liked to have it more balanced. Now, together with the rice and bread, it was very heavy on carbs. Big portion too, I could not finish it.
I do want to return to try their other vegan options!
No mocktails on the menu (lots of whiskeys and other alcohol and Guinness of course 😉) but asked a mocktail and no problem (6,50€).
Look how lovely:

I was here for lunch on a weekday, not crowded, it was relaxed. I’m guessing it can get crowded (and louder) in the evenings/weekends. Nice place, typical ‘Irish pub’ style, with lots of wood. Seperate rooms, also an upstairs area.

Entrance is accessible with ramp, and an accessible toilet on ground level. One of the few in Bruges!! Other toilets were downstairs. They seemed to be clean, but it really smelled like piss going downstairs to the toilets. Pity.
The main entrance is at the Burg (in the corner). At the back (Philip Stockstraat) is only opened to put some outdoor seating in Summer).
