#417 Nice food, friendly, but shabby place, Mie Vie (2), Gent

restaurant review #417 – I had already visited Mie Vie, a vegan lunch bar in Ghent in 2018 (see REVIEW). In the beginning of 2023, I visited again (yes, I’m still behind with restaurant reviews 😉

Very friendly and welcoming. Great food, and cheap! Had a panini with mozarella, wrap with seitan, soup, and small salad on the side.
Fantastic lunch!

The place itself is a bit shabby though. :-/
What we immediately noticed were the damp windows, and the high humidity when entering. Needs some air circulation. And mold places on the walls and ceiling, also in the toilets. The toilet area could do with some renovation / cleaning up. Was very shabby.

Not accessible. Step to get in, step inside to the back area. Toilet not accessible.
