restaurant review #330 – Garlic & Greens is a vegetarian Indian restaurant in the city center of Bruges, right next to the central market. It is connected to Indian restaurant Taj Mahal.
Vegan options are clearly indicated on the menu. Most of the menu is vegan.
I was here a couple of months ago for dinner. We had the tofu jalfreezi and the peas & curry, both 15€ (which is very reasonable, for the city center of Bruges!).
Nice food, a lot of sauce though. Loved the garlic bread!
Service was swift and friendly, although a bit reserved. Food came swiftly (but there was just one other party of three present, who were already served).
It is a rather small restaurant. Not accessible, step to get in. Only one toilet at the back, no accessible toilet. Handful of outdoor seatings in front, with view at the Belfry!
All in all: had a nice dinner. Will surely visit again!
