restaurant review #299 – Ok, this is not really a ‘restaurant’ review, as Dageraad is not a restaurant but a bed and breakfast, but I wanted to share our experiences anyway, because it was so good!
We were here a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed our stay. The vegan breakfast was so diverse and delicious! It included homemade pastries, breadspreads, scrambled tofu, sausages, fruits, coconut yoghurt, … a real treat!!
There is a large communal breakfast area , but we were served breakfast in our room (bc of Covid restrictions).
Dageraad is not a vegan B&B (so not everything in the room is vegan, eg sheepskin), but simply specify vegan when making the reservation for breakfast.

We also had a spacious room (the biggest room – Haan, downstairs), with private outdoor seating.
Pros: excellent vegan breakfast, homemade vegan pastries, variation, diverse
Cons: not all vegan (eg sheepskin in room), noise from room above

The Bruges Vegan 
That looks wonderful! We’ve stayed in vegan-friendly B&Bs, but things were basic (although we were grateful for vegan options).
