restaurant review #559 – Frituur with vegan options! Had a nice ‘fast food dinner’ before going to a show at nearby de Roma – Paul Carrack!Vegan snacks are clearly labelled and fries are baked in plantbased oil (unfortunately still a rarity in Belgium).

Figurine seen in souvenir shop in Amsterdam= Speciesist representation of animals in popular culture.Even if no animals are physically harmed with this mini statue, it consolidates a framing as animals existing to entertain us.
