restaurant review #606 – We had lunch here on a weekday, after visiting the quilt exhibition, near The Hague (see clip below), which was so inspiring!
There were a couple of other patrons, but it’s a big place, so not crowded at all. Spacious: restaurant, pub and music venue all in one. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice music.
Great variety on menu, more fastfood style dishes. All vegan!
We had
- gyozas 8€
- onion rings 7€
- fries on the side 5€
- kapsalon 13,5€
- pita doner 13,5€
- dessert: crème brûlée 7€
Didn’t have to wait long.
Everything was very nice and tasty! Large portions and very reasonably priced. Fries were very salty though.
Friendly but a bit reserved service.
Entrance is accessible and accessible toilet on ground floor. Yeah! Other toilets are upstairs. Clean. But dryer didnt work.
Combination of regular and high bar chairs/tables (very hard sitting 😩), and a bench at the back area. I think the sofas at the entrance are chesterfields and animal skin, so that’s a bummer for a vegan restaurant.
Love the inclusivity messages at the entrance and toilets (note: pls also include ableism – I know it says ‘discrimination of any form’ but it’s very conspicuous that ableism is most often not explicitly mentioned … ).
We had a lovely lunch and would def visit again!
