restaurant review #605 – Lovely vegan restaurant!! We’ve visited before and really like this place! Previous reviews of Soul kitchen are HERE.

This review is from two visits with friends in November 2025.
Soul Kitchen is not in the historical city center, but located near the Bijloke.
The menu is with sharing dishes. Order one and a half (average) to two sharing dishes per person. Or you can opt to have the lunch dish of the day.

We had these sharing dishes:
- lemon verbena pesto dip with sourdough toast (13€)
- Brussels sprouts with lemon tahini dressing and pumkin cream (15€)
- celeriac confit (19€)
- roasted parsnip (15€)
- chili pumpkin salad (16€)
- magic mushrooms (20€)
- red beet tartar (18€).
With sourdough bread (3/5€), quinoa (6€) or lentils (6€) on the side.
This is from our first visit:

This is from the second visit:

It is more expensive than your average restaurant, but each dish is very original and a bomb of textures and flavours!
Desserts are a real treat too!

I’ve been here a couple of times, and always liked it! And their new location is so much more spacious and enjoyable! Comfortable seatings, and there’s a nice large terrace at the back. There are several restaurant rooms, and I do prefer the main one, because the one at the back is next to the open kitchen, and can give some noise.
Unfortunately it is not accessible (step to get in). Toilets at the back, clean, with individual towels (love that!). Didn’t see an accessible toilet.

Very friendly and welcoming.
And we loved the ’80’s music, with lots of Prince 🙂
