restaurant review #590 – Do you like Indonesian cuisine? I certainly do! Whenever we are in the Netherlands, we try to visit an Indonesian restaurant for a ricetable.

We went here early in the evening (around 6pm) and could get a table without a reservation.
Vegan isn’t mentioned on the menu (vegetarian is), but we asked to have the vegetarian ricetable veganised, and that was no problem. At 37,5€ pp not cheap!

The ricetable was nice, although we felt like it was more of a ‘Western’ version of Indonesian cuisine, not really authentic.
It came with two bowls of rice, waaaay too much for the two of us.
Large bottle sparkling water 6,50€.
Big spacious place, although tables are pretty close together. So a lot of people inside (the place soon filled up). And it was really really LOUD. Could hardly have a conversation… :-/

Combination of benches, regular tables and chairs, and high chairs/tables.
Stairs to get in, and toilets are downstairs. Didn’t see an accessible entrance or toilets? Pity, it seems recently renovated.
Very ‘chique’ posh place. With wine cellar downstairs in what seems to be old deposit boxes (bank office?)

Very friendly service. But we wanted to get away asap after dinner, because of the noise.
