restaurant review #518 – Delicious lunch with friends!
This restaurant was previously in Brugge, but moved to Diksmuide a bit over a year ago. We really enjoyed going here, as you can tell by the number of previous reviews of this place (this is now number 7! there’s no other restaurant on my blog I’ve written so many reviews about :-D) SEE PREVIOUS REVIEWS
Finally paid them a visit them in Diksmuide!
Beautiful place, and old school, very stylish, open, spacious. Lovely decor.
There are several dishes to choose, all with music inspired names, and so you can compose your own menu – choose how many courses. The restaurant is not all vegan, but all dishes are standardly plantbased (also the desserts!) with some options to add fish or cheese etc.
We choose the 4-course menu 49€ and also took the illusion dessert (15€).
Delicious food, always with meticulous attention to presentation (the only thing I would rather not see is the ‘dead fish skeleton’ decoration on top of one of the dishes – see my talk about representation at the IARC – about vegan turkey and voiceless animals 😉).
The illusion dessert was a burning candle. Very beautiful, but this one was very unhandy to eat (very hard chocolate which was difficult to ‘break’)
Clean toilets, and fully accessible, with accessible toilet. Yeah 👏🏼 that doesn’t happen often!
Wooden chairs, there are also cushions available.
Large parking space.

All in all: loved it! Will definitely visit again!
