restaurant review #419 – Atelier Flori is a wine bar and restaurant in the city center of Bruges. They moved (I think around the end of 2022) to the Jozef Stuvéestraat, which is right next to the Dijver and the Rozenhoedkaai, so now in the heart of Bruges!

The old location was in a historical building and had more of a ‘bar’ feel (SEE REVIEW). The new location is also very nice, it now has more of a ‘restaurant’ feeling.

All the food at Atelier Flori is vegan. A lot of the wines are vegan certified too, although not all of them. I can’t comment on the wines, as I don’t drink alcohol, so you have to check that yourself 😉

We’ve visited Atelier Flori several times, and also have had their famous tapas etagere as take away, but it was the first time we visited them on the new location.
Again, we had a very nice dinner. Entree, tapas etagere and dessert for 40€. Great value for money! The etagere has a great variety of tapas, with homemade cheese, soup, wrap, lasagne, spreads, etc.

Friendly service.

It is advised to make a reservation (although that wasn’t really clear – got no confirmation through the online reservation system, and the phone doesn’t get answered – apparently there’s no phone reception in the resto).

Small step to get in. Didn’t see an accessible toilet. Toilets clean, with individual towels. And LOVED the tiles on the wall!

Really like this place. A pity they are only open in the evening (from Thursday to Sunday), so not possible to have lunch here.

The only thing that was annoying was the smell of cigarettes (people smoking on the terrace) coming inside through the open windows.
