restaurant review #384 – This is from a visit to vegan restaurant Krümelküche in Duisburg, in the south of Germany. Krümelküchewhich means crumb kitchen!

We were in the area at the end of 2022 when we went to the show of Porcupine Tree in nearby Oberhausen. ![]()
Krümelküche is a bit outside of the city center of Duisburg, in a quiet area.
The menu is noted on boards at the counter. Order there, food is brought to table.

Very friendly people! ![]()

The atmosphere is somewhat pleasantly disorganised, sometimes also with a bit of a wait.
We had a ‘fish’burger (actually fish fingers), a seitan burger, both with regular fries, with vegan mayo and joppie sauce, a piece of cake and cheese pie, fritz cola, 2 lemonades and a coffee for about 60€.

Is on ground floor and accessible (although not much space to manouver around inside). Lots of ‘vintage’ seatings. Didn’t see an accessible toilet.

Gave them a Happy Cow sticker, which was immediately put on the window ![]()

We had a very nice lunch!
