restaurant review #377 – We love visiting Maastricht! The city has a great vibe, and there are more and more places where you can get vegan food.
This is from a visit to Preps in the city center, in the Fall of 2022.

We had a lovely lunch. Vegan options are clearly mentioned on menu.
We had toast with scrambled tofu (9,30€) and additional vegan ‘bacon’ (2€) and vegan ‘salmon’ (10,95€). And a soup of the week (curry, with roasted almonds) (7,50€).
Delicious food and nicely presented!

💚Very friendly and swift service.
We had lunch on the terrace, which was nice (in a quiet side street). Only a handful of seatings there and luckily there was a free table outside and it wasn’t raining. Inside was very crowded and very LOUD, bad accoustics, all but relaxed… Wouldn’t have had lunch here if we had to sit inside.

Not accessible (steps to get in) , only one toilet – bit shabby- in the back (queuing).
I remember 🌱Kafethea used to be here (had vegan pancakes) and had the same reservations about the location (see REVIEW)
➡️Pros: Vegan options, great food, Very friendly, Nice terrace
➡️Cons: Inside very loud, not relaxed, Not accessible
All in all: Delicious food, but very crowded and loud inside.
