restaurant review #378 – We went to Focus Foodbar before going to the show of Karnivool at Poppodium 013 last Winter. See a video below – and more on my YouTube.
Focus Foodbar is a vegan restaurant in the city center. On a sidenote: 🎵🎵 coincidentally, after the show, they played music by FOCUS, the Dutch progband from the 70’s in the hall 😎 #thijsvanleer (most of you will probably have nooo clue what I’m on about 😉
Had passed Focus Foodbar on a previous visit to Tilburg some years ago, but was unfortunately not open for lunch.
This time, we could go for an early dinner! 😊
Lovely variety on the menu, selection of starters and mains. Had the beyond burger with fries (18,5€), tempehmendoan (a starter, 11,5€) and twisted fries (a side 5,5€) – ‘as my main’.
If I would have taken the tempehmendoan as a real ‘starter’ that would have been way too much! More that enough portion for me.
Nice food. The twisted fries were rather greasy.
Nice space, nicely decorated. Very friendly service. Also large outside seating (but Winter and snowing! ❄️❄️)
Entrance is accessible. Didn’t see an accessible toilet. Toilets were clean, but a wet towel to dry one’s hands kills it for me. Please provide napkins or individual towels 🙏😊
