restaurant review #361 – Mama Gaia is a vegan restaurant at the edge of Haarlem (the Netherlands). I visited last year in the Summer, after going to a show of Pearl Jam in Amsterdam! (see video below and more on my You Tube and on a sidenote, the show was absolutely super fantastic!).

Nice spacious location, inside is also very light and spacious. In a quiet neighbourhood, just outside of the city center. Hardly any traffic.

Very friendly service.
Had some vegetable chips, smoothie, then a sandwich of the day (with tofu and eggplant).
Love that they have a nice variety of fresh drinks (lemonades, smoothies).
The filling of the sandwich was excellent. Although the vegetable chips on the side were a bit too much (and since I had already ordered some as an appetizer, waaay too much). Got a bag to take them with me.

Would definitely come back here again to try the evening menu!
Seems like a newly renovated building. Pity no accessible entrance at front (is at the back). Accessible toilet available (elevator).

Had a lovely lunch!
