restaurant review #557 – This restaurant in Ghent turned vegan just a couple of months ago!!
We were here for lunch on a weekday. Confirmed: everything is vegan!
The lunch offer is small bites, 3 types of toast and a salad, and desserts/sweets.
We had the pea mint hummus 7€ and nachos 9€ as small bites. And the toast with jackfruit (18€) and a toast with cheese croquettes – from Omage (19€).
The small bites were rather huge! Loved the nachos. The pea hummus was not really my cup of tea.
The toast dishes were also a very big portion, a very thick slice of bread and a mixed salad on the side.
Very nicely presented. Both tasted lovely.
We were too stuffed for dessert unfortunately. Will have to go back to try those pancakes!
There seems to be a larger variety on the dinner menu (sharing dishes) so def want to try those too. A pity they only offer toast (and a salad) for lunch.
Nice that they have several mocktails!
Spacious place with a large outdoor seating (next to road, with busses passing, so we preferred to sit inside). Wooden school like chairs, some cushions would be lovely for my aching joints
Very friendly staff. Nice music (60’s and 70’s French chansons).
Not accessible – steps to get in (I think maybe it is stepless through a side entrance). Saw one toilet and one urinoir. Clean. Didnt see an accessible toilet.
