restaurant review #480 – Vegan restaurant and shop!! Been here several times, for lunch or some shopping, and these pics are from visits in the last two years. See also previous REVIEW – when it was still called BEO Versbar.
Very nice food! (Have had sandwiches, Flemish stew, tofu scramble, …).
Ordering is with QR code, or, if that doesn’t work for you, you can ask a paper menu and order at the counter. One pays at the counter at the end.
Nice shop. With fresh fruits and vegs and dispensers for waste free shopping. Some products in fridges that are not so easily found in other shops. Would love to see some more vegan specialties here though.
Service is reserved friendly, although often with a sort of witty attitude, which makes me a bit uncomfortable. I often leave feeling like I said or done something wrong and been told off like a schooler … 😉🤷♀️
Very spacious place, with a nice dome at the back area, lots of light. The chairs and benches are not so comfortable though.
Shop and restaurant is wheelchair accessible, with accessible toilet. One of the few, so kudos for that!
